Here's to learning how to forge your mothers name!

My sister in law was talking to me about her high school reunion coming up soon and it got me thinking about my graduation announcement. Most people wouldn't think about that because there's was the generic one that has been printed since the 50's. My mother thought that she could come up with a better announcement for my brother and I. I thought that it was lost forever since I never got one because they were all sent out. Well I was wishing that I could find one and behold the power of thought brought one to me. So I thought I would write down what my mother put for the sake of having it, oh and sharing of course.

Deep Thoughts
Lance and I were talking the other day about not ever having to ride the stinky school bus again now that we are graduating, not having to listen to kids screaming or the bus driver telling you to sit down or get your head back in the bus, or catch you chewing gum on the bus, then she'd make you take the gum and make you stick it on your nose and everyone would laugh and laugh, and we swore that if we ever got thru school we would make them PAY!

(open the card)

And then it hit us, Lance could drive the bus and I could be the mean lady telling kids to put gum on their nose and then WE would laugh and laugh!!!!!

Isn't that so great. I mean who else had that sent out to everyone in their life when they just accomplished 12 years of work. Thanks mom this goes right in there with the dread of her sending notes to school because she always wrote about me having on clean underwear etc. Well here's to learning how to forge your mothers name.

We also stopped at the temple on a whim and took some family photo's just for fun. I could show you the really awesome amazing shots of the fam but then you wouldn't have anything to look at when you come to my house when we MOVE IN MAY!!!! So here are the really bad out takes, ENJOY!

This little Pig had babies.......

The Pig had Puppies about a little more than a week or so ago. I think I may have scarred Brigg for life because I let him watch one of the births. All he said was, "EEEEEWH YUCK". So I don't know how much damage it did. He still likes to go and see the pigs so I think we are still ok. I found something out too that for all of you who don't have a weak stomach may or may not like to know. But after a pig gives birth you don't want to touch any of the babies because you leave your scent on the piglet and the mother will kill it. She may even eat it, EEEEW YUCKY!

Also Dallyn's dogs are at our house for a while there are only five left and I think a few of them still haven't been spoken for if anyone is looking for a dog.

Watch out WORLD

I thought this day would never come. Vanessa is finally walking!!!!!! She took TEN steps today. Her official first step was January 24th. She even shook her booty with Grandma White. Part of me was really hoping that she would wait until she was 18 months so I could just walk her into nursery but I am so happy to not have to carry anyone for a while. She loves the attention and even cheers for herself. Good Job my sweet baby girl.

Darn You Stiletto HILLS!!!!

Well Brad took me to go and see the Lion King on
Broadway. The costumes were so awesome and the
show was pretty good. I was the post game show though.
Brad was walking me down the stairs and I was
freezing so we were going kind of fast. So I slipped and fell still holding on to Brads hand. In which case he held on to me and spun me around while my legs flew up in the air and by doing soI bacame a moving panty flasher. I did an entire 360 turn. The entire theater was coming outside just as I fell to make matters worse. It was a pretty good fall if I do say so. Brigg noticed right away when we got home and he told me to go sit down. He is so sweet!

Shout out to my cuzzz

I found this picture on my camera and I was so happy that I did. I LOVE this girl!! She is incredible. She sometimes answers NO to any question I ask her or she rolls her eyes but I know she loves me. I think she is an angel. I lived with her for a short while when I was in college and she brightened my days. She would peek in on me in the morning to see if I was awake enough to come play soccer with her or go swimming. She also was the best singing coach I have ever had when I tried out for the pageant. She still helps me sing that song and we laugh and laugh. She helped me get over the heartache of a dumped boyfriend. We turned the radio up in my car and opened the sun roof and danced like no one was watching. I'm telling you she is the best. If you ask her if she did any of this she will probably tell you she didn't but I just wanted her to know I love her and think she is the most beautiful girl in the whole world!

What did one tomato say to the other when it fell behind??

KETCHUP!!!!! Life has certainly been crazy and I feel like I have fallen behind. I realized how wonderful this blog thing is when I tried to think about what in the world did I do this past year. So I thought in order to get all caught up I need to do a photo journal of some happenings that were missed.
I know this isn't a big event but brigg was so cute with these flowers I had to post about it.

Vanessa in her princess tutu. If you notice this tutu is terriable. I finally figured out how to make pretty tutu's and was in a few boutiques before christmas.

Brigg fell off a wheel chair and beat up his face.

Brad finished his first school project and was so proud. He finished his second one too but I didn't get to go to that one so no pics but I am sure they would look about the same.

Brad also got to go to Florida with his class and had a great time. He went for an entire week!!! Our longest time apart since we've been married.

I was so happy to have him home!

Lance's birthday he was spoiled rotten as ussual and a fire truck came to the house and he got to sit init. They also have him his very own fireman hat with his name onit. That was so cool and we will never forget it.

We Celebrated Halloween in casa grande with Brad's brother. Brigg was a pirate and nessy had several different costumes that she hated. We went trunk or treating at the church.

We have been seeing my grandma Lilly a lot so I thought I would post her beautiful picture. She is so crazy active and is so beautiful I hope I am just like her.

We went to Colorado for Christmas this year. It was -5 on the coldest nights but we had a great time with the fam.

Here's me and my two kiddos christmas morning. I don't think any of us look awake despite that it was like 8:30 before we opened gifts together.

We also got to see our Grandma Lena. I love her. Her maiden name was Mortensen and she always tells me "us Mortensen's have got to stay together". She is wonderful.

Poor vanessa has been sick (well we all got sick in colorado but left it there thank heavens!!) and hated being in the car to and from colorado but who can blame her I hate that too.

and finally I came up with a really cute new blog called theredpolkadot and have been working on some bows to post on there. Check em out at www.theredpolkadot.blogspot.com
