The past week

Here are a few photos of the last week or so of our going on's. It has been a little crazy dealing with croup. Vanessa and Brigg even had to be taken to urgent care because it got so severe. Thankfully Eve didn't get it as bad. So now I am a croup expert. Today we saw the first snowfall of the season! We are doing great and loving our little town. Happy holidays to all!

Here is my sweet Vanessa trying to sleep off some of that sickness we have been dealing with.

Isn't she a doll. I did something kinda silly and shaved her head. She had a huge balled spot and thought I would even things out. I don't think I will ever do that again!

Brigg and I were able to go on a date this past week and get away from the girls sickness. He was a great date and he even held the door open for mommy.

Brigg sporting his new blanket sleeping bag I made him. He loves it so much he even sleeps with it.

Brad's Birthday cake I had forgot to post for my sisters so here you go girls.

The kids loving their daddy. It seems like every night he comes home it's a dog pile on daddy for an hour and then thankfully off to bed.

Halloween 2010

We had a nice Halloween for it being on a Sunday and the kids were sick. Decided to at least let them dress up. I present to you....

Mario and Tinkerbell

oh and our little cutie pie in tiger print

This is one of those setup the camera and then run for it pics and hope the kids haven't moved by the time it flashes.

After our little photo shoot we made a scary ginger  bread house for an activity. And yes I cheat bad by using the glue gun instead of frosting to put it together.

My little girls munching on the house.

Our little Perle

The above picture is when she is about two months old and the other two were taken at a few weeks. Thanks for the great edit Lauren you are a wonderful aunty.

So I am finally feeling the need to blog. The biggest event that has happened to our family would be the birth of our little girl Eva Perle (Perle is pronounced just like Pearl, grandpa just spelled it Perle). She was born on May 27th and weighed in at 7lbs 6oz. I was induced that morning at 8 and had her around 2. I had to walk and walk around the hospital trying to get things going. I felt so stupid in my yoga pants and hospital gown. People love to stair at big pregnant women, even if you catch them doing it. The only hiccup was that my epidural was late so I felt this one and I would never recommend that to any women. I don't know how my mother had six!! All I can say is I am SO sorry mom and I love you. At any rate the other kids love her to pieces. They always want to be right in her face telling how cute she is. The adjustment from two to three took me a little bit to figure out but hasn't been as scary as some will lead you to believe, but my kids are pretty calm too.

As for other recent events of our going on's. Brad started reffing football again and he loves it! He just bought me a new entertainment console with the money he earned so I love it too. The kids are starting mommy school here soon and they are excited. I am trying to get the mommy school together and attempting to get my garage organized. But honestly all I feel like I do now is feed my baby, chase the other two and clean the house. But life is good and we certainly feel blessed.

Has anyone ever tried this before (picture below)???? If you haven't and are feeling froggy try it and then let me know what you thought. It sure looks pretty but looks aren't everything. I am still the enrichment leader (or whatever they are calling it now) and am always trying to come up with things that the ladies haven't seen, tasted, heard, etc.

Blessed

So we moved thanks to the graciousness of our new ward it all worked out okay. I don't know how it would have all gotten done with out them. I am very surprised at the out pouring of love from people that we haven't even known for a year. Meals have been cooked, my house was cleaned (the floors were even steam cleaned), my kids have been watched, and boxes have been packed and moved up two flights of stairs. I am over whelmed and don't know quite how to appropriately say thank you to everyone. I have been feeling miserable lately with my pregnancy. Most days I don't want to move and can't keep much down. I am amazed at how good my kids have been to me not to mention my dear sweet husband. So we see the doctor today to see what is going on with me and I pray that he can tell me what is going on and just not brush me aside. That happened with Brigg and I had him an entire month early. Really don't want to go through that again! All in all I am feeling extremely blessed and watched over. If I could only find the energy to organize my house but one step at a time right.

Thursday, March 11

Been a little busy lately but wanted to write a quick post. We are moving again. Just closer to town and have to be out by the end of the month. So I am in declutter/ get all of my projects finished up (I made benches for my table)/ Find my wedding ring/ be pregnant/ plan the RS birthday party not to mention my own birthday and Briggs. Yeah little busy, but happy. Brad recorded a few of his songs in a recording studio yesterday. You should have seen how happy this made him. He has big dreams of Nashville, not for his singing but for the lyrics. We'll keep you posted if anything happens there but better yet we hope to have you hear the song on the radio. Anyways kids are great. Vanessa was pushed off the bed a week or so ago and had a nice slice in her cheek. I'd have pictures but she was really upset about me taking them so we'll forgo that. I am 7 months and for those of you who don't know IT's A GIRL!!! Very excited to be having sisters. So I am off to continue my to do list and thought I'd show you one of the benches I made for my table. I am so proud of it since this is the first piece I have made from start to finish. Have a great week!!

The Ice Cave

Here is a beautiful ice cave we visited.

Just Kidding! It's not a fancy ice cave, can you imagine me a huge prego girl hiking around an ice cave, HA. It's our back yard patio. I have jokingly called it the ice cave because well of all the beautiful ice. Here are a few more pics out into our back yard. Check out how high that snow is, and surprisingly it has melted some.

And here is a pic of the front yard with all of that nasty white stuff. It was a lot higher than this but we here that winter is almost over. THANK HEAVENS!!!
